Memory Verse
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me", Philippians 4 vs 13 was our Memory Verse yesterday and I love this verse of the Bible. This verse like many others in the Bible strengthens the weak, gives hope to the hopeless and faith to the faithless because it reinforces to us that with Christ as our back bone, we can achieve what others consider impossible. What was or is your Memory Verse? What did you learn from it and how has it changed your life so far?

THANKSGIVING CELEBRATION AND BLACK FRIDAY DEALS
I hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving and for those that are in areas that do not celebrate Thanksgiving, I'm sure that you still have more than a lot to be thankful to God for. I know I have...my life alone is enough for me to be thankful to God for. I also hope you got to spend time with your loved ones. Remember to always make every moment count.
Did it snow in your area on Thanksgiving?...It didn't snow in my neck of the wood and I like that. What did you eat for Thanksgiving?...I've realized that people who live outside their home countries tend to incorporate their cultural foods into the standard holiday meals of the country they live in. I know my family does. Alas, some of my family members live out of state and I know they had a blast at my Sister's...I'm thankful to God for blessing me with a family such as mine. But, great news...yesterday was my Baby's first Thanksgiving on earth and I thank God for that blessing and I know He will bless him to witness many, many, many more wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving, amen. I spent some part of my Thanksgiving with my Baby and Le Hubs...I'm immensely thankful to God for those two. Please as you celebrate this holiday (and always) do not forget the poor and the needy. Someone out there can benefit from what you may not consider much.
A few years ago, my siblings and I went to Victoria's Secret on a Black Friday and I remember buying some really sexy lingerie and body sprays so ladies, if you can, check out Victoria's Secret for sexy stuff. We went around 5am or 6am and they still had very sexy goodies.

Expresso Friday
It's Friday again and time for Expresso Friday. I have so much to be thankful to God for. I had an MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) recently and when I saw the images of my internal organs, I marveled at God's wondrous works. Even in my imperfections, He still made me perfect and for that I'm truly thankful. He is indeed a Master Artist. Go ahead and express yourself...share your thoughts, feelings, concerns e.t.c. Just express yourself.

68% IDPs (Internally Displaced Persons) Are Children —Dogara
Speaker of the House of Representatives, yesterday, said 68 per cent
of Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs, in Nigeria were children. Speaking at the sensitisation workshop and launch of UNHCR hand book,
“On Internal Displacement for Parliamentarians,” Dogara said statistics
from the UNHCR showed that 68 per cent of IDPs in Nigeria were
children, adding that there had been about 60,000 births in IDP camps so
far.
The speaker further stressed that today’s event offered the
opportunity to restate the fact that there was no adequate legal
framework for handling issues of internal displacement.

Memory Verse
Our Memory Verse was Philippians 1 vs 6 which reads, "Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus". This verse of the Bible reaffirms to us that God will perfect all that concerns us and He is not finished with us yet. Share your Sunday Memory Verse with us if you have any and tell us if it has had any type of impact in your life so far.

EXPRESSO FRIDAY PHOTOS: INTERNALLY DISPLACED PERSONS (IDP) CAMPS IN NIGERIA
Holiday season is here and in my quiet moments I wonder how people in certain parts of the world will celebrate - what they will eat, drink, where they will sleep? e.t.c. I think about the poor, the needy, the downtrodden, the displaced, the abused in different parts of the world and how they cope with life everyday. These thoughts sometimes keep me awake at night because I continue to think about the women and children in these situations. I think about ways to help them and I thank God for blessing me daily and also ask Him to please bless me more so that I can reach out to more people. I sometimes turn on the faucet at home to brush my teeth and I wonder about the child in Somalia and other parts of the world scooping muddy water to drink due to lack of clean water.
Internally Displaced Persons in Nigeria and in other parts of the world are displaced due to man's inhumanity to man. They leave all they know and are used to due to the violence in their Countries, Towns/Cities. I can never make sense of all the violence and I don't want to. Please, reach out to the needy, the poor and the homeless around you and not just this holiday season but whenever you can and God will definitely bless you as you do so. Also pray for the all the people that are going through hardship and tough times in life. Believe me, some people are going through situations you might think are unimaginable or impossible. Here are some pictures of some Internally Displaced Persons in Nigeria. Put yourself in their shoes while going through the pictures and thank God for His mercies. Remember that you have all or some of what you need in life not because of how righteous or perfect a person you are but for the grace of God.
