A Boxer Puppy Shot In The Head, Dragged Behind A Car And Left For Dead Is Comforted By Another Dog.
Sammie, a four-month-old boxer puppy, was shot in the head and left for dead by his cruel 'owner' in South Carolina. Rushed to the vet, he was comforted by Simon, an abused border collie. Now the pair are best buddies and helping each recover from their harrowing ordeals. Both will be available for adoption when they're healed. The vet clinic says that Sammie will require extensive surgery, and may even lose a leg which was crushed when he was dragged by a car, however, he has recovered well from his first surgery, and is 'in great spirits.'
